Prospero Teaching are working with a College in Sheffield who are seeking to appoint an Engineering Teacher to their department on a permanent basis. The College require someone with significant lecturing and industry machining experience and will have the opportunity to make a real difference teaching L2 and L3 study programmes as well as the new apprenticeship frameworks to the next generation of Engineers.
The key roles are to deliver excellent and engaging teaching each year, completing the relevant preparation and marking that supports this and to set SMART targets to enable students to reach their potential.

Hold at least a L3 Mechanical Engineering qualification and experience of delivering practical workshop units in hand fitting techniques, turning and milling. Have possession of a teacher training qualification and the TAQA assessor award would be a distinct advantage.
