Teaching Assistants required for Primary and SEND Schools in Mansfield.
Due to high demand we are recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a part time and full time basis. We are currently working with a large number of SEND schools and mainstream schools with SEND pupils, all of who need constant support in the form of teaching assistants to support within their classes. If you have experience working with children in an educational setting or children with SEND, then we have roles for you!
At this time, schools need more external support than ever before due to the limited supply of COVID-19 tests stopping staff being cleared for work. There is already lots more work than we would normally expect for September, which is normally a quiet start to the academic year for supply work.
The roles will include day-to-day supply, short term cover and long-term roles with the potential for temp-to-perm contracts from schools for the right candidates and depending on what the demand is from the school.
We are looking for candidates with a can-do attitude who can be flexible, adaptable and able to settle into different environments quickly.
All the schools we work with have excellent reputations, with previous staff having loved working with them.
The ideal Teaching Assistant will have:
* Experience within an educational setting.
* Experience with various SEND needs.
* Great communication skills.
* A good knowledge of the national curriculum and the ability to adapt it according to the needs of the children.
* The initiative, ability and desire to creatively support students in lessons.
* The ability to build good relationships with the staff and pupils.
