Together, we want to shape the future of energy.What we are looking forManage delivery of preventive maintenance as defined by the maintenance strategy team and in line with contract management and work planning & scheduling processesManage delivery of corrective maintenance within the required timescales determined by the risk and in line with contract management and work planning & scheduling processesContribute to the continuous improvement of the maintenance management system through the job plan improvement and failure reporting and corrective action system (FRACAS) processes and conduct root cause problem solving where requiredDevelop and manage the budget required to deliver maintenance in area of responsibilityManage and contribute to the improvement of safety performance including regular audits of the work control management processDesign and delivery of low and medium risk technical improvement projectsNetwork and benchmark outside of Grain Power Station to ensure that best practice is employed in area of responsibilitySupport the development of apprentices and resident contractorsWho we are seekingEssential requirements An HNC or engineering craft based qualification in an appropriate engineering discipline to NVQ level 3 or equivalent with appropriate industrial experience.A broad understanding of Power Station operations.A broad knowledge and experience of maintenance activities in an engineering skill spanning more than one plant area.Knowledge of current policies and procedures which affect the management of the Station and which are relevant to the role.A good working knowledge of health and safety and environmental legislation and standards to IOSH or equivalent.
