Join us today and release yours.About this roleThis role is to develop robotic and other intelligent automations across Group Business Services (GBS) within BT ensuring that we continue to grow our business whilst increasing our right first time and keeping our cost base down. Working with the business across BT you will be designing, building and supporting the automation of key BT processes.You'll have the following responsibilitiesLead in design and delivery and support best practices of new and existing automation capabilities, ensuring we have the training capacity to be able to deliver automation technologies across the business Set the design standards for new and existing technologies, ensuring we remain compliant across BT and deliver sustainable automation capability (e.g. our commitments, security, SOX) Lead on work in automation within BT as an End to End Process Designer researching and scanning external industries to identify best practices and systems to innovate out automation capabilities Work with suppliers to review cases and implement proof of concepts Lead teams to deliver End to End development and delivery of processes from planning and tracking of deliverables through to support of live processes Drive automation initiatives to improve customer satisfaction, increase revenues and decrease costs Define standards across our automation capability, keeping up to date with BT Security policies and ensure compliance Work closely with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to identify business processes for automation and work on end to end solutions Plan and track deliverables ensuring stakeholders are regularly appraised of status and progress throughout Use your experience in automation to learn new intelligent automation technologies then impart this knowledge to the automation teams Lead on evolving our service to ensure we excel in meeting requirements, KPI's, and customer satisfactionYou'll have the following skills & experienceA track record of implementing new technologies into a businessExperience of AI / chat bot capabilities Success in leading teams in the delivery and improvements of automations Strong expertise of project management in a structured environment An understanding of, and a willingness to adhere to, formal change control procedures and disciplinesKey Technical ExpertiseAutomation (Blue Prism) Web Development Excel Macro / Access (VBA) Microsoft Technologies (.Net) Developing applications in SQL Server or OracleBenefitsCompetitive salary and on-target bonus plan World-class training and development opportunities 25 days' annual leave (not including bank holidays) Discounted broadband, mobile and TV packages Share option and pension scheme programmesAbout BTBT has a key role in British society, fostering change and leading technology innovation.
