A successful, international company is looking for a Transcreation Specialist with French language skills to a native level to join their exciting organisation on a 7 month fixed-term contract. You will be responsible for translating video games content from English into French. The role will start remotely but you may be required to work from the office later on.

Your responsibilities will include:

Translating and proofreading video games content from English into French
Supporting various managers on a project basis
Working closely with other languages to keep a high level of quality across all languages
Ensuring the consistency of the content, ensuring that the language style is accurate and adhering to the guidelinesAbout you:

In order to succeed in this role you will need excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. You will be fluent in French to a native level and have a keen interest in French culture. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced French speaking Transcreation Specialist with a passion for video games to gain experience within a successful company and to be involved in a creative and professional team in London.

Profile:

Required to be fluent in French to a native level
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Previous experience in transcreation, translation, localisation, copywriting or proofreading
Experience or an interest in video games is a must
Experience with CAT tools, preferably MemoQ
Understanding of and exposure to French culture
