Badenoch + Clark are currently working with their reputable Public Sector client to assist them in their search for an interim 1st-2nd Line Support Officer.

Given the busy nature of the IT team, this 3-4 month contract is required to assist the current team with a backlog of requests, largely around assisting the continuation of homeworking. Experience of working on a busy Service Desk is essential, along with the demonstrable knowledge allowing the successful candidate to close a high number of tickets directly.
The role is largely home-based; the office cover is done on a rota basis so there will be times when the successful candidate will be based in the office, and during this time all COVID guidelines and advise are followed.
A sample of projects which will be supported are:
- Support the ongoing rollout projects such as Windows 10 and Apple devices.
- Support migration to Office 365
- Support colleagues with homeworking requests.
Experience of working within a Public Sector ICT team and using a call logging portal is desirable, as is knowledge of ITIL, however its essential you're able to provide fantastic customer service using strong stakeholder skills.
