We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced early years practitioners to work within our beautiful Montessori setting. Applicants must have previous experience of working with babies and toddlers. You must be passionate and enthusiastic about supporting the development and care of young children.
Qualification: An Early Years Qualification at Level 3 or above.
·You will supervise children during meal times, provide intimate hygiene and care routines and maintain the care of the environment.
·You will assist with the planning of the curriculum, including updating the environment by creating appropriate materials and activities that are suitable to the needs and development of the children.
·You will be actively supporting the development of early language through songs, rhymes, poems and stories.
·You will be supporting children's development through observations, assessments and evaluation of their progress.
·As a key person to a group of children, you will be liaising closely with the children's parents and carers to ensure that each child's needs are recognised and met appropriately.
·You must have good knowledge of child development and be able to apply your knowledge to plan developmentally appropriate activities.
·You will be aware of special educational needs a child may have and be able to work with the Special Educational Needs Coordinator to support identified needs.
·You will undertake daily risk assessments and ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of children and staff at all times.
·You will familiarise yourself with the settings policies and procedures and be able to implement these effectively.
·You will support and implement safeguarding and child protection measures as required.
·You will be required to keep up-to-date with current best practice, and commit to ongoing professional development.
·You will be required to maintain professionalism and promote confidentiality of information regarding the children, their families, staff and the setting.

Salary: £20,500-£26,500 + Benefits + Performance Bonus and Generous Holidays
Hours: 7.45am to 5.00pm, 8:15am to 5.30pm and 8.45am to 6.00pm on a weekly rotating shift pattern.
