ART AND DESIGN TECHNICIAN - GRADE 3

35 Hours Per Week, Term-Time Only, 1 Year Fixed Term Contract

(with possibility of permanent)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and suitably experienced Art and Design Technician to join a thriving, diverse Art and Design team.

Calderstones has excellent Art & Design facilities with four purpose built art rooms and a ceramics room. The department is well resourced with each room having ICT provision to include a digital projector and interactive white board. Other resources include six multimedia flat screen computers, colour photo printer, digital cameras, a printing press and a modern front loading kiln.

The successful candidate will need a proven background in the Art & Design, a good working knowledge of ICT and the ability to prepare equipment for KS3 and KS4 classes; experience at 'A' Level would be an advantage.A qualification in the area of art & design (preferred BA Hons degree, BTEC Diploma, HND, Foundation Diploma).
