Male Community Support Worker
Assistium Ltd are looking to employ a male Community Support Worker to work with people who suffer with mental health issues.
The role involves supporting people to maintain their independence in the community and this can involve regular food shopping, light cleaning, taking to appointments, managing bills and finances, accessing local events and activities, assisting with education, employment, housing and welfare benefits. All activities will be done alongside the client.
The successful candidate will need to have some experience in working with people with mental health issues or disabilities as well as good communication skills and a passion for this type of work. Must be able to drive and have access to a car as this is an essential part of the role. Clients will be based within Leicester.
This role will initially be part-time but with the aim to become a full time role.
