ERP Finance and Procurement Lead

Solihull or Hook with UK Travel

As a global company of 50,000+ employees we rely on the support of our IT Services team to keep the business running smoothly and efficiently. And as our ERP Finance & Procurement Lead you'll be key to shaping and improving the business critical systems that underpin our finance department.

Serco is heavily reliant on ERP Services through several SAP platforms, most notably SuccessFactors and ECC HR. In this role you'll be responsible for developing and delivering a roadmap of improvements that keeps them up-to-date and meeting our ever-changing business needs. You'll do this by working closely with our internal clients, IT Directors, and 3rd party suppliers, and by being a key stakeholder on various programmes and projects. You'll also occasionally support on the development of other smaller ERP systems such as Great Plains, Sun Financials and Agresso.

This is a new role within our team, so we'll be looking to you to bring your experience, knowledge and influence to shape the way forward for our systems. What you need to do the role

First and foremost you'll need detailed knowledge of and experience of SAP finance platforms, specifically ECC HR (EHP8) and BW/BPC. Knowledge of all common finance and procurement processes is essential including record2report, procure2pay, order2cash, treasury/tax and FP&A.; Knowledge of IFRS16 and S4 is highly desirable along with the ability - and innovative thinking - needed to develop service roadmaps.

As you'll be dealing with a variety of stakeholders at a variety of levels you will need excellent people skills that help establish long-lasting relationships and deliver smooth and positive interactions across a matrix environment. You'll also need experience in the effective management of 3rd party suppliers to achieve business outcomes.

Lastly, as a multi-site company you'll need to be able to travel to a number of Serco sites as well as strategic partner locations.
