An exciting opportunity has arisen within AUB's BA (Hons) Creative Events Management course to lead this vibrant and well established course which recently celebrated its 25th Anniversary. The post holder will provide academic and team leadership with line management responsibilities. With recent experience in creative events management, you will play a significant role in the development of related research and knowledge transfer building on the many external professional relationships that the course has developed regionally, nationally and internationally.

You will have both professional experience in creative events delivery and in teaching in higher education in a directly related field. You will demonstrate that you can undertake a leadership role in the curriculum design, development and delivery of high quality student learning experiences, which are informed by current expertise in cultural enterprise and knowledge transfer, research and professional practice. As a member of the School of Media and Performance Executive Team, you will contribute effectively to the strategic direction of the School and University.

You will be expected to meet the minimum requirements of the Senior Lecturer Person Specification, including holding a postgraduate qualification, in a directly related discipline. You will ideally also have FHEA Membership and hold a teaching qualification.

We are looking for applicants who can draw upon established networks through their experience professionally and in higher education, evidenced by a proven track record of professional engagement within the Creative Events sector.
