In this role, you will play a crucial role on some of the most exciting infrastructure projects that aim to bring ultrafast broadband to the most challenging to reach parts of rural England. Day to day you will support the project teams in establishing performance management baselines, assessing the cost impact of changes, performing estimates to complete and reporting earned value metrics. Alongside the Project Planner you will also drive performance against the project plan to deliver on time, cost and quality.

Previous experience within a relevant project controls/PMO environment
Demonstrable experience of budget management, cost control and progress reporting
Detailed understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM)
Good understanding of Critical Path Analysis (CPA)
Have a solid proven experience working on large projects within Rail, Infrastructure, Utilities, Aviation, Highways or Civils or Buildings
Be knowledgeable of working with Primavera P6 aligning schedules with costs
Understand Risk management
Strong experience of financial and investment analysis, for example IRR, NPV, Payback
Contract management experience, including meeting contractual reporting obligations, writing change requests, and performing change impact assessments
Telecoms/Infrastructure (TMT) sector experience with a broadband focus would be highly desirable
