Due to continued and sustained growth we are looking for additional crew members for our Secure transport unit around the UK, these journeys can either be pre-planned or very last minute, so flexibility is a key factor, moving patients with challenging behaviour or in crisis who may need care again these can be pre-planned or last minute.
You have to be physically and mentally able to be able to deal with the challenges of the role, and be aware that there is a high potential that you may be required to get into alterations and you may get minor injuries.
The job can not only be psychically challenging but mentally too, you must be able to deal with highly stressful circumstances, process that and move onto another patient and not take in any emotion from the last patient. Briefings and Debriefings are a must as part of your team.
Suitable training of course is provided for any roles that we employ you to do, this is on-going during your career.
You must have a good work ethic, be hard working and able to show empathy and compassion and be contactable at all times of the day.
We are looking for people that are physically fit but can also cope with the demands of a very emotional and high intense working day.
If you have previous experience in the Prison service, security, armed forces or the police force it would be an advantage, however this is not necessary.
Communication skills both verbally and written need to be of a high standard, you need to be able to listen and work as part of a team, it is crucial that you are able to follow instructions exactly when tasked on this work.

We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year at locations mainly in and around the midlands with regular UK wide trips
The starting wage is £9.00p/h but there are opportunities to increase that depending the career path you take with us.
A full manual, UK driving licence held for 5 years is required and an enhanced DBS check will be carried out on successful applicants, for which we meet the cost, you will be asked certain screening questions for insurance purposes upon application.
