Accounts Administration Assistant, £22,000 - £26,000 per annum

09:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday

Manufacturing company based on the outskirts of Thetford

Main Duties:

Recording financial transactions
Producing monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
Tracking profitability by product and customer, and advising directors and sales staff
Issuing sales invoices and maintaining the Sales Ledger
Performing credit control, monitoring and promptly collecting customer debts including regular telephone and email contacts
Maintaining the Purchase Ledger, reconciling supplier statements and making supplier payments
Performing bank reconciliations and cash book entries
Recording, tracking and managing customs duties on imported materials
Reporting Intrastat and other statutory reports
Administering and performing the company payroll
Essential Skills:

Previous experience within similar role
Understanding of accounting systems (preferably Sage) and strong Excel skills.
