A leading software company are looking for a Payroll Manager to be office based in the Midlands on a permanent basis.
Responsible for a close knit team made up of a Team Leader and Payroll Administrators you will be responsible for a medium headcount of employees.
This role is fully responsible for the in -house payroll function - ensuring that the monthly payroll is processed accurately & on time; as Payroll Manager, you will process all starter & leavers, ensure all statutory deductions are made accurately and on time & all third party payments are made.
The Payroll Manager will manage all year end - including P11Ds, P60s and PSAs. The Payroll Manager will lead on all payroll related projects and be responsible for both internal compliance and all regulatory controls.
This is a fast growing company and requires candidates to be able to work in a changing environment and bring ideas and solutions to the current in-house payroll function.
In addition to the day to day payroll operations, you will also be constantly reviewing, analysing and improving the processes for an effective department.
This role has naturally close links with the HR department, therefore you will be involved in various HR Operational tasks and duties.What you'll need to succeed In order to be selected for interview:-
- A strong technical understanding of all things relating to payroll processing and management.
- Proven management skills within a Payroll/HR management or at supervisory level looking for the next step
- CIPP membership or equivalent or working towards this is preferred but not essential.
