Job Title - Qualified Electrician (Reactive and Maintenance Works)
Contract Type/Hours of work - Permanent/40 per week
Salary - In the region of £15-£16.50ph (to be agreed depending on experience)
Based - East Sussex
We are a well-established electrical contractors' firm, based in Eastbourne, East Sussex and have over 40 years' experience of delivering a full range of electrical services to our core client groups which includes local authorities, educational settings and commercial clients. We have recently been successful in securing long term contracts with East Sussex County Council, Brighton & Hove Council and Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and wish to expand our reactive and maintenance works department to support our operations and deliver exceptional services to our clients.
About the role
We are looking to appoint a fully qualified electrician to undertake reactive and maintenance works for specific contracts. Additionally, the role will undertake small to medium installation projects as they arise. The role will involve liaison with clients and building users on site and the use of tablet devices to enable remote/responsive working.
This role is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and professional references.
You will be a proactive and fully qualified electrician (ideally to 18th Edition), with a good level of experience of reactive and maintenance works. BS2391 (Test and Inspection) qualification is desirable.
You will be passionate about your work and take a professional approach to deliver exceptional standards of technical knowledge, practical skills and documentation. You will have a commitment to continued professional development and hold a full clean UK driver license.
