Page Personnel Logistics are looking to recruit a Logistics Project Manager for our client based in East Hertfordshire.
Our client are a multi-channel retailer who are experiencing fantastic growth. This is a newly created role with the chance to start immediately. The role is being recruited as a 6 month contract with the opportunity to become permanent later in the year.
In the role of Logistics Project Manager you will be responsible for the following:
Identify and clearly define project scope, timelines and targets, gaining sign off within the business
Prioritise project work, based on business need, to include processes, people, systems and financial improvement
Regularly track and report on project progress to senior team, identifying and overcoming any issues
Managing and building strong relationships with all stakeholders both internally and externally
Review success of projects, identifying any areas to improve
Setting up delivered projects as part of the business as usual process
Perform other related duties where the business requires
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working within the shipping, logistics & warehousing functions and will be looking to take their career in the direction of project management. They will be educated to degree level, with great numerical and MS office skills. It is important that you have the abuility to work with and manage the expectations of people at levels including senior stakeholder in the business.
