Due to continued growth and success in securing new contracts, we are looking for a Health and Social Care Assessor to deliver HSC Apprenticeships in the Durham area. As qualifications will be up to and including Level 5, a Health and Social Care Assessor that is qualified to deliver Level 5 Care Leadership and Management is a necessity.

This is a home based role that gives you the opportunity to completely self manage your own diary. We are looking for a HSC Assessor that is able to manage time effectively and ensure all learners in the Durham / wider NE area are supported.

* Salary - up to £28,000 DOE

Role responsibilities:

* Taking full responsibility for a caseload of 40 - 45 learners

* Successfully delivering L2, L3 and L5 HSC qualifications

* Providing the required level of support for each Apprentice to enable timely successful completions

* Ensuring learners remain on programme by regularly checking in and carrying out progress reviews, either remotely or in the workplace on a 1:1 basis

* Supporting learners with the EPA and 20% off the job training

* Maintaining regular contact with employers during the whole of the learning journey

* Ensuring learner files are fully compliant and up to date

Skills and experience:

* Qualified Tutor / Assessor (any of the following (CAVA, A1, PTLLS, EAT etc)

* Level 5 Health and Social Care qualification

* Industry experience

* Previous delivery of framework and standards

* Up to date with all relevant changes within the Training & Education sector - funding / qualifications / eligibility

* Previous use of e-portfolio systems

* Strong communicator, able to effectively manage a caseload of apprentices and demonstrate good time management skills
