An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Learning & Development Trainer & Observer to work for an established leading provider of apprenticeships within the IT, Tech and Digital sector. The Trainer/Observer will be responsible for delivering a training and mentoring programme to the team of Learning Mentors and contribute to a schedule of observations alongside the Teaching and Learning Specialist. The role will be office and homebased in the Newton Aycliffe area.
The expanding apprenticeship team has identified the need for this role and are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic professional to help improve the teaching, learning and assessment given to learners.
Essential Skills and Experience
" Hold a relevant Education & Training qualification.
" Hold a relevant Assessment qualification.
" Hold GCSEs (or equivalent) in A-C English, Maths and IT.
" Knowledge and/or experience of the apprenticeship sector and apprenticeship standards.
" Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to drive high performance through facilitated performance development (including observation, root cause analysis, training needs analysis, coaching & mentoring).
" Coaching & mentoring experience.
" Teaching & learning experience.

Desirable Skills and Experience
" Hold a relevant Coaching and Mentoring qualification.
" Hold a relevant Learning & Development qualification.
" Knowledge of the OFSTED Inspection Framework.
" Knowledge and/or experience of the L3 Learning Mentor and L5 Assessor apprenticeship standards and curriculum.
" Knowledge of End Point Assessment processes and requirements.

£25,000.00 - £32,000.00 per annum (depending on experience)
