Accountancy Practice - Liverpool city Centre - Staff & Client Management
Your new firmYou will be working within a general practice who have been established for a number of years. This firm offer a range of services to their client base inclusive of Accounting, Payroll and Tax and following sustained growth they are now looking to appoint a Portfolio Manager to the team.
Your new role
As a Portfolio Manager you will be responsible for working with c. 200 clients made up of limited companies, sole traders and partnerships from industries such as retail, wholesale and hospitality to name but a few. You will be required to prepare statutory accounts and delegate work to your team. Management accounts, bookkeeping and corporation tax will also be a part of this role and you will review the work of your team, hold meetings with clients and hold regular 1-1s and appraisals.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this role you must have worked within an accountancy firm previously and be able to prepare accounts. Ideally you will have previous management experience in either a staff or client capacity and you should be able to work efficiently and to deadlines and be able to prioritise your workload. Communication skills are key as you will be liaising with both colleagues and clients alike.
