Lead Mechanical Engineer

Full Time


Central London


£40000 - £43000 - Depending on Experience


40 hours per week between 7am - 7pm Monday - Sunday


My nationwide client are a facilities management business who have been established for over 100 years, covering a variety of different industries and specialising in efficiency, cleanliness, sustainability and smooth operations across both hard and soft FM Services.

Responsible for delivering all aspects of Facilities Management this company operate and have responsibility for numerous Building Services contracts throughout the UK and are now looking to expand their workforce in a large and prestigious building in Central London.


The vacant role is for a Lead Mechanical Engineer responsible for a variety of different Building Services Tasks including but not limited to:-

* Scheduled PPM

* Re-active tasks

* High-Level technical Fault finding

* Site emergencies

* Assist the Site Manager with service delivery

* Ensure work is carried out meeting Health and Safety requirements

* Assist in the preparation of emergency contingency plans

* Maintain accurate records of works done


Minimum of City & Guilds Level 2 in Mechanical Engineering

Building Services Engineering Experience

Some Electrical knowledge would be advantageous

Own basic hand tools



Good Customer Skills

Able to work on own initiative
