Are you ready for the next challenge in your Management career?

In this newly created role you will be the Registered Manager for two of our services and line manage the Registered Manager of a third home. All three services are based at the same site in Westoning. Each home has an existing Front Line Manager and this team will report directly to you.

Across the the three services we support 21 adults with learning disabilities, to live a live that is meaningful to them. As part of our commitment to continual improvement we have extensive plans for developement of the site. You will play a key part in ensuring this project delivers maximum benefits with minimum disruption to the quality of service. Plans include full redcoration and new extensions to two of the properties.

Of course there will be the practical details such as overseeing the rota, completing risk assessments and support plans. You will be responsible for the service budget, and ensuring the home is fully compliant with all regulatory requirements as well as our internal processes.

You'll develop constructive relationships with external professionals, social work teams, families, and the local community.

You'll also have overall responsible for ensuring any staff vacancies are filled promptly, working with our supportive internal recruitment team.

It is also important to note: our successful Front Line Manager will also be part of the on call system so you will need to have a flexible approach.

What we need from you or About You

You will have experience of supporting vulnerable people, ideally those with a learning disability. You will have managed a team and have extensive knowledge of relevant stautory legislation.

You'll be creative in your thinking and your approach both to staff and the people we support, able to inspire and motivate. Our Front Line Manager will also have the ability to empathise and work with families and help build their confidence in us right from the start.

Other qualities that makes a good Front Line Manager will be the ability to budget, work under their own initiative, be reliable and flexible as you may need to cover sickness etc at short notice.

You must be a driver with your own transport which is insured for business use, as you will travel regularly to meetings, conferences and training.
