The Role:

Due to continued company growth, we're seeking a meticulous and pragmatic Quality Assurance Officer to provide support to the Quality Assurance Team Lead ensuring compliance with EU GDP guidelines for the Accord EMENA Region. You'll be responsible for the compliance of GDP activities for Senior Management and Responsible Persons - covering procurement, holding, supply and export. You'll have ownership for monitoring approved service providers for outsourced activities to ensure they adhere to EU GDP requirements and developing robust policies and procedures. In order to ensure products are distributed under appropriate conditions, you'll build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. On a day to day basis you'll drive deviation investigations and raise CAPAs as appropriate, provide input to customer complaint investigations and ensure change controls are implemented. You'll also provide support during MHRA and regulatory inspections, in addition to corporate and external audits.

The Person:
  • Experience in a similar Quality Assurance/GDP role within the pharmaceutical sector with good practical knowledge of EU GDP guidelines
  • Experience of performing supplier quality audits with a focus on GDP activities
  • Experience of acting as an SME for MHRA and other competent authority GDP Inspections
  • Able to perform robust deviation and complaint investigations and assign appropriate CAPAs
  • Good understanding and experience of Change Control procedures
  • Keen eye for detail, with a methodical and analytical approach to work
  • Able to manage own workload - even in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Strong communication skills, able to build good working relationships and use persuasion and negotiation skills to influence positive outcomes
  • Good IT skills across Microsoft Office (including Excel) and the ability to learn company systems
