Business Services Project Manager - Inside IR35 - Nuclear

We are currently recruiting for a Business Services Project Manager.

As the Business Services Project Manager, you will:

The Business Services Project Manager will have the responsibility and authority within the RWM Management System for RWM Projects as appropriate.

Activities will include:

Maintaining the RWM Project Initiation Document (PID) as required
Co-ordinating with the wider Business Services team
Producing automated reporting for the Business Services board
Identifying and managing project interfaces
Facilitating the effective realisation of the project objectives
Managing the RWM project budget doe allocated projects
Managing the RWM project schedule
Maintaining the Business Services Risk Register with the support of the RWM Risk Manager
Co-ordinating any project changes effectively, when required
Managing progress and prepare reporting deliverables
Preparing progress information and reporting to the RWM Programme Directorate

Qualifications and Skills

The work will require a suitably qualified and experienced person with relevant

experience of project management and relevant disciplines.


Membership of project management professional body with commensurate qualifications and experience
Experience of delivering projects and programme management in complex, technical and highly regulated environments, and proven track record of managing and engaging effectively with stakeholders in such environments against the full project life cycle, including quality assurance and financial planning and management
Relevant programme and project management qualifications (eg. PRINCE 2, Managing Successful Programmes, APM Practitioner Qualification and APM Registered Project Professional).
Visible leadership - able to lead through engaging, motivating, coaching and empowering others.
Collaboration - able to establish and develop collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, bringing people together to benefit projects or programme.
Working with ambiguity - able to build consensus and set direction in uncertain situations and apply knowledge and techniques to reduce ambiguity.You'll have:

Conflict resolution - able to recognise, anticipate and effectively deal with existing or potential conflicts or disconnects at individual, team or strategic levels.
Communication - demonstrably strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation, and at all levels of seniority.
Evidence of Project control and reporting
Clear and confident written and verbal presentation skills, able to covey messages to a variety of audiences
Evidence of forming effective relationships across technical and functional boundaries


Nuclear Sector experience.
