My client a leading Recycling company with an annual turnover in excess of £140m, employs over 400 people and operates a fleet of over 100 vehicles are now looking to recruit at Project Accounts Manager.
Support the divisional head through maintaining and developing high level contacts within existing customer base ensuring customer satisfaction as well as all parts of customer interaction are completed to the highest level - quoting, order processing and invoicing, as well as account queries where they may arise.
Act as the initial point of contact within the company for customers business liaison issues, taking a responsibility for information relating to the customer. Collaborate with the accounts function analysing cost budgets and scheduling of resources for customers that have plant, equipment and personnel on site.
Support the sales and operational functions, effectively managing projects and tenders as well as identifying opportunities with existing customers as well as potential customers.
Advice to customers on industry best practice and innovation during account contact, as well as identification of potential customers that would benefit from these innovations.
Support of current team for current customers and development of team for future customers and future markets.
Significant period of managerial experience within a materials handling/processing environment.
Experience of working within contractual relationships, including the management of a small number of high volume/value subcontractors to deliver contracts, as well as the tendering of such contracts.
Awareness of reporting styles for the management of a business unit within a larger organisation through high quality weekly/monthly report where appropriate.
Ability to effectively communicate to all levels inside and outside of the business.
