WordPress Developer (North West)

A small knitted creative development company are looking for an enthusiastic Web Developer to join their laid-back team. The reason for the vacancy is due to growth and you will be working on some very interesting projects. You will have the opportunity to grow as a developer by collaborating with like minded developers and have ownership of your own project in the future.

This flexible company are one of a kind, the office environment is modern and friendly. The company culture is very upbeat and fun. There is only Gym access and regular team events and rewards.

The ideal developer should be Junior, Junior-Mid or Mid-Level who has the following;

  • 2+ years as a Web Developer
  • Strong experience with WordPress
  • Exposure with PHP
  • Knowledge and commercial experience with Front End technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
  • Some experience with design skills with any of the following Adobe XD, Photoshop, Sketch.
  • Mac proficiency

Desirable Skills (not essential):

  • Modern JavaScript Frameworks
  • SEO and Google Analytics knowledge
  • Git Version Control
  • Bespoke WordPress or advanced knowledge with WordPress is a bonus!

Location is based up north west which is easily commutable from Middleton, Blackburn, Burnley, Bury, Bolton, Preston, Rochdale, Wigan, Chorley, Keighley, Manchester or any area within Lancashire

Salary range is £22K-£32K (Flexible for the right candidate)
