EPM are looking to appoint a Junior Payroll Administrator to join our team of payroll professionals.

The position is a fantastic development opportunity with a view to growing the successful individual into a Payroll Administrator.

The position would suit a recent school or college leaver seeking their first full time opportunity.

Purpose of the role:

As Junior Payroll Administrator will be supporting the payroll section in attaining its aims and objectives, by providing effective administration within the company, working as part of a team. The working environment is fast-paced and the ability to work well and remain positive under pressure is essential.

Main Responsibilities/Duties of the Job

To support the payroll function on all aspects of administration.

Assistance in the input of payroll data to meet audit requirements

Assistance in processing various statutory forms for example: P45s, Starter Declarations, Student Loans, P60, and P11d's. Comply with the requirements for Auto Enrolment and Real Time Information.

Liaise proactively with HR colleagues to ensure that all HR administration tasks are completed effectively in time for payroll deadlines.

Print letters, tables, reports and other materials as appropriate.

Responsible for ensuring that all administrative tasks for the portfolio of schools have been completed prior to payroll deadlines

Responsible for ensuring accuracy of data held on behalf of our customers, dealing with and escalating any concerns as required.

What are we looking for?

Five 9 - 5 GCSEs including Maths and English, or equivalent

Ability to work to deadlines and thrive within a fast-paced environment

Strong relationship building skills across all levels with internal and external stakeholders

Willingness to continually learn and develop as an individual

Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure to strict deadlines
