Our client is on an exciting journey and following a restructure they currently have an urgent requirement for someone to join them on a long-term temporary basis in their small and friendly finance team.
Working primarily in purchase ledger in the first instance, your role will likely grow and you will become involved in other areas of finance including sales ledger and credit control.
Checking, entering and matching invoices to purchase orders
Seeking authorisation from relevant managers
Handling supplier queries in a timely and polite manner, escalating any queries to your manager as appropriate
Working to deadlines and ensuring payments are made in a timely and responsible manner
Month end close procedures
Supplier statement reconciliations
Undertaking additional duties as may be assigned from time to time
Assisting with sales ledger processing
Assisting with credit control
The successful candidate will have experience of purchase ledger and accounts and will be used to working to challenging deadlines ensuring accuracy and integrity of information at all times.
A solid understanding of Excel is essential and experience of finance systems also imperative.
