Pertemps Managed Solutions are currently recruiting for a Fixed Assets Associate to work with one of the UK's major utility providers.

Fixed Assets Associate - Role objective

To provide support to the Capital Accounting Manager and Fixed Assets Lead, to
deliver world class financial accounting and reporting capabilities in the area of
fixed assets accounting.

Fixed Assets Associate - Key accountabilities

Timely and accurate accounting for project capitalisations and asset disposals
Month end technical accounting for fixed assets
Stakeholder management and expert support to project managers on correct accounting treatment and capitalisation/asset disposal process
Providing support with the preparation of fixed asset regulatory, statutory and taxation returns as required
Providing support with the preparation of budgets and forecasts for depreciation and profit and loss on disposal as required

Fixed Assets Associate - Experience
In order to succeed in this role it is expected that you will have:

Part qualified in a recognised accounting qualification, AAT / ACA / CIMA / ACCA or equivalent - actively studying towards becoming fully qualified
Strong IT skills particularly Excel and report writing software
Experience of SAP and SAP BW desirable
Experience in financial controls and financial reconciliations
Good verbal and written communication skills
Excellent stakeholder management skills - positive and empathetic approach to working with non financially trained people

Rate:£250 - £250
Duration: the role is to start as soon as possible until 15th Jan 2021
