Fabricator Welder - Newtownabbey - Salary = Competitive.

Clemence Rogers are recruiting for a Fabricator Welder to join a growing manufacturing company based in Newtownabbey.

Key Responsibilities

Plan work to minimise waste of raw materials as well as working in a clean and tidy manner.
Work in accordance with Company operating procedures and guidelines.
Work with production and production engineering to analyse, plan and implement solutions to create and implement efficient fabrication processes with regards to tooling, jigs etc.
Interpret designs and engineering plans to develop and design projects
To manufacture to a high degree of accuracy in Fabrication drawings and plans
Work with production and production engineering on the design and implementation of projects considering Lean manufacturing tools and techniques.
Evaluate all engineering drawings and ensure implementation according to welding specifications.
Perform all relevant welding, grinding etc.
Ideal Candidate

Experience in using oxygen / acetylene, MIG and various hand & power tools to perform, welding / cutting / drilling functions in the fabrication and / or repair of all types of metals.
Welding vocational training or equivalent is required.
Considerable knowledge of approved welding methods, practices, code requirements and safety standards.
Skill in the use and care of hand and power tools and equipment necessary to perform welding / fabrication tasks.
Good interpersonal skills
Knowledge and understanding of the production techniques for fabrication
Hours:

Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30

Friday 07:30 - 13:30
