Cambridge Regional College have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Gas Assessor to join the team based at our Campus in Cambridge. This a full-time, permanent position and in return, you will receive a competitive salaryof £26,225 - £30,481 per annum depending on experience, plus benefits.

About the Gas Assessor role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Gas Assessor / IQA to join the College's Wold Based Learning - Construction team, taking overall responsibility for an agreed caseload of students and to ensure successful completion of the full programme.

Key duties of our Gas Assessor / IQA will include:

- Agree and design training programmes in the appropriate area, providing support to students to achieve their qualification within agreed timescales.

- Provide instruction and training, ensuring training meets standards set by the College and Awarding Organisations.

- Organise and plan assessment opportunities with students and employers.

- Carry out regular review meetings with students and employers to set and review targets and progress.

- Interview prospective students and carry out skills assessments to ascertain suitability for the programme.

- Undertake such other duties as may be required commensurate with the grade, at the initial place of work or at any other College site, as may be requested of you by your line manager.

What we are looking for in our ideal Gas Assessor / IQA:

- Practical hands on experience within installation, service and repair of modern gas systems.

- Level 3 relevant vocational qualification and relevant vocational CPD.

- Level 3 Internal Quality Assurance Qualification (for Level 2).

- Recent vocational experience or history of continuous professional development whilst working in a relevant industry.

- Assessing experience in the relevant curriculum area.

- Ability to work flexibly when required including evening, weekend and summer holiday periods.
