IT Support Analyst
FMCG Manufacturing
£25 - 28k + benefits

Perpetual Partnerships are a North West based recruitment consultancy part of the Russell Taylor Group, with a significant track record of supporting the key goals of organisations within the manufacturing and engineering community.


We are recruiting for a market leading company within the FMCG industry who are seeking a versatile IT support analyst to support the growth on their high speed manufacturing site. You must have a good understanding of Microsoft Office applications and Windows 10, as well as a wide variety of information and network systems support such as telecommunications circuits, LAN/WAN systems, routers, switches, VoIP, servers and operating systems.

The Role

You will be part of the IT team, supporting all aspects of core IT systems and network infrastructure, as well as supporting diverse locations around the UK and global locations remotely. The core responsibilities include:
  • Provide timely response to all incidents, outages and performance alerts
  • Recognise, identify and prioritise incidents in accordance with business requirements, organisational policies and operational impact
  • Collect and review performance reports for various systems, and report trends
  • Monitor and support a wide variety of information and network systems that include, but are not limited to telecommunications circuits, LAN/WAN systems, routers, switches, VoIP system, servers, storage, operating systems and core applications
  • Document all actions in accordance with standard company policies and procedures
  • Notify customer and third-party service providers of issues, outages and remediation status.
  • · Perform basic systems testing and operational tasks (installation of patches, network connectivity testing, script execution, etc.)
Qualifications and Skills
  • 5 years' experience minimum in a similar IT support role
    • Excellent Windows 10 skills
    • Microsoft Office application support experience
    • Experience in Trend Micro software and appliance management would be advantageous
    • Experience of Microsoft Exchange 2010, Windows Server 2012r2, Active Directory, Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager, VMWare and Microsoft Skype for Business beneficial
    • Full driving licence
    • Good problem solving skills
  • Mobile device management and setup including Apple iOS
  • Must work well in a team as well as independently
  • Attention to detail and good time management skills
  • Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate to none technical audience
  • Flexibility to work remotely when needed
