This FinTech have been fully remote since 2009 with a small team based all across the UK so have been well-equipped to cope with the madness of 2020. They have a core product which offers a very wide range of functionality as well as a newer business management platform in the life insurance space. With an international client base spread across Europe and the US, they're now focusing on improving the UI of their original product as well as growing the functionality offering of the new platform as it continues to build momentum in the market.

What experience you'll need

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JSON, Webpack, JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Comfortable with at least one modern library (preferably Vue, React/Angular fine).

What you'll be doingJoining a small team of full-stack developers you will take the lead on UI/UX development and design, adding new features and functionalities to their product offering plus helping them move one of their platforms away from Bootstrap into Material Design. You'll be implementing collaboration services to support workflow management, contributing to UI testing, advising on all architectural decisions across the front-end plus advocating best practices with other developers in the team. They work with Vue so you'll need to be comfortable learning it, as well as helping to build on their component library by producing efficient and re-usable code.

What you'll get in return for your talentsFlexibility, learning and personal development is engrained into the culture. They spend Friday afternoons doing R&D and meet up in Bristol once a year to talk through everyone's achievements, goals and ambitions for the following year. With ambitious growth plans and lots more lined up to drive their product offering forward, this is not one to miss out on!
