This is a permanent position with full-time and part-time working considered. About the role:

Our new Lecturer in Electrical Installation will join the Department of Construction and the Built Environment. You'll be a professional coming from the industry and wanting to get into teaching. As part of the team you'll help deliver high quality teaching and learning to students as you in turn are supported to obtain your Level 5 teaching qualification.

Key duties of our Lecturer in Electrical Installation will include:

- Deliver high quality teaching and learning to a timetable that may include evening, Saturday and summer periods.

- Develop and maintain teaching materials including handouts, assignments, booklists, assessment papers and electronic resources.

- Act as a course tutor with responsibility for supporting learners in achieving their targets.

- Assist in recruitment and admission of new students.

What we are looking for in our ideal Lecturer in Electrical Installation:

- Electrical Installations qualifications to at least Advanced Craft/NVQ level 3

- At least three years industry experience, currently working in the industry area or have been within the last 18 months

- Ability to travel independently to other centres operated or staffed by the College

- Able to use Microsoft Office or willing to learn

- Current Health & safety knowledge for the industry
