Due to a period of significant growth, we are recruiting a Senior Investment Analyst to support its pipeline of investment opportunities. This is a permanent role and will be based in our Manchester office.

Arrow's investment team is responsible for portfolio valuation and investment strategy. The post holder will be joining a dynamic and entrepreneurial team and can expect regular interaction with senior executives. Accordingly, the role offers opportunity for progression, and strong performance will be quickly recognised and well rewarded.

The Role

The Senior Investment Analyst will work as part of the Chief Investment Officer's (CIO) team, supporting the CIO, Head of Investment and Senior Investment Analyst across several areas.

Duties of the role will include:
  • Conducting, overseeing and presenting detailed analysis of potential portfolio acquisitions, including the application and development of forecasting models, to support investment decisions
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to produce investment memorandums for consideration by the investment committee
  • Post-acquisition, early review and analysis of actual performance vs. forecast
  • Performing on-site due diligence on potential investment opportunities
  • Dealing with creditors and European financial institutions, to progress transactions and obtain relevant data to support the valuation
  • Working with the modelling team to ensure continuous development and enhancement of those valuation models.

Experience required for the role:
  • Evidence of high numeracy and problem solving skills
  • SQL programming and Excel skills
  • Experience in financial analytics in retail banking/consumer credit finance environment
  • Experience of data manipulation and/or mathematical programming
  • Practical experience of statistics
  • Experience of statistical and/or econometric modelling/forecasting
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
  • Interpersonal skills / good team player
  • Confident to work in a high pressure, deal-driven environment against commercial deadlines
