Grafton Professional services are working with a market leading, specialist manufacturers in the appointment of a permanent Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias). Answering to the Engineering Manager, you will be joining a small team working a 12 hour shift pattern, rotating days and nights weekly. The Maintenance Engineer role is primarily to provide support to operations, and maintain facility & manufacturing equipment. This is achieved through a system of planned preventative maintenance, improvement works and support requests, as well as effective reactive maintenance.

Maintenance Engineer Job Details:
Type: Permanent
Salary: £Highly Competitive
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6am-6pm days and 6pm-6am nights, rotating weekly
Location: East Lindsey District, commutable from Grimsby, Lincoln, Scunthorpe, Boston, Gainsborough

Maintenance Engineer Main Duties:
* Carrying out planned maintenance activities
* Inspections, repairs and routine maintenance
* Troubleshooting and fault finding
* Installation of equipment and machinery across various departments
* Working closely with the Manufacturing teams to ensure all machines are running to their full potential
* Ensure housekeeping is carried out to standards set by 5S
* Carry out effective shift changeover communication routines
* Timely and effective reporting of required information

Maintenance Engineer Applicant requirements:
* Time-served, with a National Vocational Qualification in Engineering or equivalent City & Guilds, HNC/HND
* Electrical Bias, preferably from a Manufacturing background
* Knowledge and proven background of 5S/continuous improvement methods is essential
* Able to demonstrate a proven track record of fault finding and diagnostic skills
* Able to proactively respond to ever changing production demands
* Have the ability to engage and express ideas with other team members
* Strong verbal and numerical skills are essential in addition to a good understanding of IT
* The ability to work with planned maintenance and stock control systems.
* A positive attitude to Health and Safety at all times
* Self-motivated and driven to achieve high standards of output at all times
