We are partnered with a world leading supplier of technically advanced engineering systems for a wide variety of industries, including the pulp, paper & energy industries. There is now a great opportunity for an experienced manual machinist to join their team as Working Machine Shop Supervisor.




What You Will Do:

·Ensure safety is a priority in everything you and your team do.

·Utilise engineering drawings to ensure the work carried out is accurate.

·Co-ordinate the workload within your team to ensure on time delivery for customer demands.

·Communicate with suppliers effectively, ensuring they are of the right quality.

·Use your initiative and problem-solving ability to resolve production challenges, including tight timescales and changing priorities.

·Identify areas for improvements where appropriate - implement where approved.

·A flexible approach to work. The list above is not exhaustive.




What You Will Have (or What We Need From You):

·Must Have - Experience working on Manual Machines (boring, grinding, & drilling etc).

·Must Have - Supervisory experience.

·Must Be - Skilled at working to engineering drawings.

·Must Be - Time-served machinist.

·Competent in the use of a variety of manually operated machine tools.

·Experience using overhead travelling cranes.

·Outstanding communication skills; both verbally and written.

·Interpersonal skills - a team player.
