Injection Moulding

Monday to Friday am/pm shift pattern

(6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm)

Burnetts Manufacturing is a well-established Rubber & Plastic moulding company based in Northampton. We work in various sectors including automotive, oil & gas and consumer packaging.

As part of our continued growth we are looking for an experienced and multi skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team. Ideally you will have previous experience in an Injection Moulding environment.

You will be required to:

·Perform essential reactive and ppm maintenance, improvements & rectifications on rubber & plastic processing machinery/ancillaries to minimise downtime.

·Liaise with production department to remedy any breakdowns or production problems.

·Liaise with equipment suppliers, service support and contractors to remedy problems and order spares.

·Maintain records in accordance with existing TPM system as part of IATF16949 requirements.

·Assisting in the introduction of new plant and equipment.

·Identify, report and remedy potential H&S concerns.

As a time served Mechanical/Electrical Engineer you should have appropriate qualifications and be used to working in a manufacturing environment. Whilst your experience is essential, you should also have a positive attitude and enjoy working as part of a team.

You should also be:

·Educated to City & Guilds level 3 or equivalent.

·Competent using workshop equipment.

·Experienced in the areas of electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics.

·Able to plan and implement successfully.

·Able to prioritise tasks in accordance with business needs

·Confident in your own ability and able to problem solve.

·Practical with a positive attitude.

·IT Literate

·Living withing a 40 minute commute

Remuneration: £34,000 - £38,000 dependent upon experience
