TITLE : ICT/Technology Partner Manager

(Technology Procurement/Category Management: Supplier relationships )

Location : High Wycombe ( this is an office based role with some WFH)

Salary : £55,000 + 10% ( total compensation of c£60K )., 25 days holiday and subsidised learning programmes)

Team: Supply chain and Technology (e-commerce )

Languages: Any European language is an asset

Contract type: permanent role

Start date : ASAP

Company

Global centralised service centre that acts as the purchasing " hub" for clients within the food and drink sector . This organisation is a not-for-profit company and aims to get its retail store clients the best possible prices on food products in order to support them in growing and becoming successful. The company has recently embarked on a massive digital transformation of its UK operation and are growing their supplier relationships and you will be at the forefront of managing existing and future supplier relationships . There will be occasional travel involved in this role

The role

You will use your expertise to 1) procure new technology services through tenders and RFIs and

2) manage ongoing supplier performance and relationships

Duties

Managing Existing Tech Suppliers
  • Liaising with key technology suppliers to measure and manage their ongoing performance
  • Collate and analyse supplier performance data
  • Introduce strategic sourcing, benchmarking, value engineering and endure happy supplier partnerships
  • Ensure that service delivery is a standardised level
  • Address and resolve any ongoing performance issues with ICT partners
  • Working to budget and resource allocations

Developing New Tech Supplier Relationships
  • Establishing new supplier relationships with an eye to delivering cost savings
  • Leading the tender selection process with the use of RFI/RFP/RRQ processes
  • Establish contracts with new partners
  • Set clear KPI's and targets with approved partners
  • Lead regular reviews which focus on continuous improvement

Internal Liaison
  • Work with the IT team to build strategic roadmaps
  • Develop and drive delivery of ICT projects using the internal Category Management and Project Management, define the critical path, provide clear feedback and progress reports
  • Liaise with the internal Team based in the USA

REQUIREMENTS
  1. ICT Project management experience
  2. Demonstrable retail technology knowledge would be ideal
  3. Technology Supplier performance management background
  4. Category Management expertise (CIPS qualification ideally)
