Field Service Engineer - Control Systems | Material Handling (logistics) and Food & Bev (Process Control)

We are working with a premier control system integrator to recruit a field service engineer into the field service engineering team.
Package: up to £35k - £45k base salary (depending on experience) + over time (average team member takes home £50k with over time) + on call allowance + mileage allowance (45p / mile) + equipment + expenses
This control system integration business is split up into four areas, electrical design, panel workshop, service, and projects. The vacancy has arisen because of one of the service team members who has moved across to the projects team.
The business works across a wide range of areas within automated materials handling and food and beverage process control. They have seen consistent growth over the last 10 years including over the Covid19 period - both in terms of work and head count. The business has huge multinational corporate clients that it services - real global household brand names.
Almost all of the work is UK-based and the business supports the development of it's field service engineering team.
The ideal candidate will be working as a control system field service engineer with experience of Siemens / Rockwell control systems:
- PLC (Siemens / Rockwell) - modifications/fault finding
- Pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance
- Assisting clients with technical faults.
- Attend breakdowns
