eCommerce / Marketplace Manager – Online Home & Garden Furniture
Berkshire Based – Role Location: Mostly Remote
£35,000 – £42,000 Basic (+ £8,000 Performance OTE Uncapped) + Benefits Package

We are a successful indoor and garden furniture business seeking the right candidate to accelerate our growth plan across the UK and Europe through existing and new online channels.

You will be responsible for continuing to drive our dramatic growth in online sales, you will be rewarded with a flexible organisation structure, accountability, and responsibility to contribute from day one and a performance related bonus structure.

The eCommerce / Marketplace Manager Role:

We are a growing quality home furniture and furnishings company, based in Berkshire, with more than 8 years of strong and consistent year on year growth in online sales. We offer a high-quality range of teak garden furniture, cushions and parasols alongside unique and bespoke interiors with an eco-luxury / sustainable / natural message and approach.

We are recruiting an eCommerce Manager that can grow our business across multiple Amazon marketplaces supporting over 400 product SKU’s.

You will be responsible for continuing to grow our existing Amazon marketplace sales, as well as identifying and implementing the ongoing roll out of products on other global platforms.

The successful candidate is expected to have a solid working knowledge of trading on Amazon from managing individual listings, running advertising campaigns and adapting the business approach to respond to market and amazon changes in order to achieve a No.1 category position.

The ideal candidate will have working knowledge and demonstrable experience of working on other platforms to bring this capability to our business, including WooCommerce sales platforms.

Our website has a higher number of products available to our customers and is complemented by a showroom.

You will need to be a self-motivated, data-loving, target driven individual with a completer-finisher approach and an eye for detail. A creative business thinker who takes a customer-centric perspective to representing our brand, our business, and our products. The successful candidate will have a demonstrable record of driving revenue and profit growth through online sales from existing and new channels and crucially has the personality and mind-set to share and support in the drive of this small business growth opportunity.

The role will report to the Managing Director, based in Berkshire, but for the right candidate role location can be flexible, although there will be an expectation of travel and a level of frequency of face to face business meetings.

Minimum Required Skills & Experience:

+ 3+ years’ experience in Amazon management using AmazonSellerCentral & preferably WooCommerce
+ 3+ years’ experience in PPC and Amazon Advertising
+ Data-driven
+ Demonstrable experience of growing online sales
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills
+ Strong spreadsheet modelling skills
+ Strong working knowledge of SEO & Google Analytics
+ Highly organised approach, ability to pro-actively manage workload remotely, prioritise and multi-task
+ Strong analytical and commercial skills
+ UK driving License.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

+ Experience of launching and managing products on other online platforms, including Ebay, Fruugo as examples.
+ Using a central order management / SRM system such as CloudCommercePro / ChannelAdvisor Platform
+ Running mailchimp campaigns to drive engagement and sales
+ Developing and launching innovative marketing strategies to increase awareness and sales.

Remuneration Package:

+ Base Salary: £35,000 – £42,000 Basic
+ Performance OTE: £8,000 PA uncapped
+ Pension
+ 28 days Holidays inclusive of Bank holidays
+ Hours of work 8.30-5.00pm Monday to Friday

You may have worked in the following capacities:
eCommerce Sales Manager, Marketplace Manager, Online Retail Sales Manager, eCommerce Channel Partner Sales, Amazon Marketplace Manager.
