You will be playing a key part in improving online customer engagement and conversion.
By focusing on the testing phase of the ecommerce projects, the successful candidate will ensure all releases of the website/software meet business requirements, as well as satisfying quality and performance standards for our customers and internal users.
The role will be working alongside the ecommerce and IT Teams where you will be supported and encouraged to grow within this expanding and successful business.
Responsibility for User Acceptance Testing of all major and minor releases to the eCommerce platform and supporting systems.
Work closely with 3rd party suppliers, and follow the correct escalation paths should you not be able to resolve an issue.
Conducting and assisting with post-release training, in conjunction with the eCommerce team.
Building strong relationships with the teams of our technical partners/ integrators, and with our internal IT team.
Support with operational tasks including modifying configuration settings and investigating issues reported by internal and external stakeholders.ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience doing testing/QA/UAT
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and consistency.
Logical approach to problem-solving technical and process issues.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
The ability to work closely within a team.
A passion for online/digitalDESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience in an eCommerce/software/IT related role.
Experience of using an issue tracking tools
