Our client, a well-regarded specialist music school based in Hertfordshire is looking for a Teacher of Philosophy for an immediate start. The school is one of the oldest independent music schools in the UK, and has received numerous accolades.
The school is a co-educational day and boarding school, catering to pupils aged 10 to 18. Despite being a specialist school, they provide a well-rounded education to 180 talented musicians.
Pupils at the school are funded by the Government and by the school's own scholarship funds. They have consistently had success in national and international competitions. The majority of the pupils progress into the music professional although some pupils go to University to study both music and non-musical subjects.
We are looking for a part-time Teacher of Philosophy to join the school, ideally for an immediate start. This post can be permanent for the right candidate. Philosophy is a popular choice at the school which has now moved away from Pre-U to A-Level. The successful Philosophy Teacher will be committed to the wider life of the school, whether that be within music or something else. The Teacher of Philosophy will report directly to the Deputy Principal.
If you are a Philosophy Teacher that is available for a near immediate start please get in touch as soon as possible. Applications for this post are being held by Hayley Logue at Connaught Education. Please send your CV through to
