MFL Teacher, Slough

TimePlan Education are working with a school in Slough who are recruiting for an additional MFL teacher for their languages department. Ideally, they want to meet teachers who can deliver French as a specialism with the ability to also teach German. If you cannot teach German, then please still apply. If you only Spanish, please do not apply.

The school is looking for a dynamic and motivated MFL teacher. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching MFL and can pass this on to their students. This is a full time, permanent MFL school teaching position starting in September 2020. There is also an upcoming maternity cover position in the department which can be discussed.

The school has high expectations and you will be required to plan a lesson that demonstrates 'good' or 'outstanding' teaching practice. GCSE results at the school have improved dramatically, which the Headteacher is really proud of. The teacher(s) that they require for the department will help to continue this good work and help drive the department forward.

Applications from experienced MFL teachers and NQT's are welcome. Teaching roles will be paid up to MPS 6 and TLR's will be offered for the right candidates. You may also be in line for a Lead Practitioner post if you meet the requirements.

Our job at TimePlan will be to provide you with opportunities to interview at our schools and for a number of schools across our multi-academy trusts. You will have a dedicated consultant who will guide you through the process and help with interview planning and preparation. TimePlan has a standout after care service where we will continue to support you during your new role and will be available to provide further career support moving forward.

TimePlan Education Group Limited is an Equal Opportunities Employer. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to a successful Enhanced Disclosure, Barring Service (DBS) check and two professional references.
