Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: 6 weeks referenceable experience within a relevant setting

The Work for this Special Educational Needs & Disabilities Support Assistant role:
We work with SEND Schools in Barnsley for their temporary, permanent and cover needs for Special Educational Needs (SEND) Support Assistants. We can be flexible working around candidates, but most vacancies are full time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm weekly starting from October 2020. We can also off ad hoc supply work if preferred.
We are looking for candidates to join us for this Special Educational Needs & Disabilities Support Assistant role who have a background in any of the areas above, and ideally a supporting qualification in Health and Social Care, Early Childhood Studies, Supporting Teaching and Learning, Youth Work, Psychology, Sociology, Mental Health or a related qualification (but not essential). Experience is vital for this role, as we need to obtain recent professional references.
We will need to be able to obtain at least 2 professional references relating to placements or roles described above in the past few years for this Special Educational Needs & Disabilities Support Assistant role.
