Accounts Assistant - Temporary to Permanent - £10.58ph - Swindon
A fantastic opportunity for an Finance Professional to join a fast-growing UK manufacturing and retail company reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager. Our client is looking for a highly analytical candidate with a real can do attitude. The position is temporary to begin with but has the possibility to go permanent for the right person.
Accounts Assistant duties will include (but are not limited to);
Processing and verifying Accounts Payable Invoices for UK suppliers and overseas stock suppliers
Setting up new suppliers on the finance system
Resolving rent, rates and service charge queries in a timely manner
Undertaking monthly and quarterly rent payment runs
Reconciling supplier statements, investigating and resolving discrepancies
Completing cardholder administration and monthly reconciliations
Supporting the AP Manager in improving operating procedures
Ideal candidates will have previously worked in a similar role within Finance for a minimum of two years. Advanced excel skills are desirable, as is experience working on Sage 1000 and Concur Invoicing.
