Science Intervention Teacher
Vida education are looking for qualified Science teachers to work in Secondary schools in the Blackpool and Fylde Coast area.
This role will require you to deliver intervention classes across Key Stage 3 & 4 children of different abilities.
This Science intervention work offers flexibility and will allow you to either work on an ad-hoc day to day basis, or could chose a mixture of part-time and full time bookings within a secondary school through Vida Education. This role can suit anyone's requirements or availability.
For this role, you will need to be a qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent qualification.
You will be teaching Science to children in need of additional support and this may be done either 1:1 or in small intervention classes.
The requirement for this role will be at least till December 2020, but the schools will then review and likely extend, due to the extra support needed for certain pupils who have missed education since the schools closures in March 2020.
In order to be considered for this post, you will need to:
•Hold QTS or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualifications
•Have a good knowledge of the current Science National Curriculum
•Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour and always strive to get the best out of your students.
If you feel that you are a suitable candidate for this role then please do apply now.
NQT's and experienced teachers alike are welcome to apply. Vida Education offer excellent rates of pay and take great pride in providing a quality service to candidates and schools.
We are an experienced team who specialise in placing secondary teachers, primary teachers, cover supervisors, teaching assistants and school admin and clerical staff into positions all across Lancashire.
As you are working with children, safeguarding and child welfare is paramount and an Enhanced DBS is required for the role, this can be discussed further upon application.
We look forward to hearing from you very soon.
