As Financial Crime Manager, you will review the existing financial crime policies and procedures to ensure that they continue to meet regulatory requirements along with developing, implementing and managing the financial crime & fraud prevention framework. Also, you will be responsible for leading the financial crime risk assessment programme as part of the firms overall monitoring Plan.

Given your technical, financial crime background, you will act as an escalation point for AML, Fraud, AB&C and Sanctions, and be the lead for financial crime investigations. Given the insurance side of the business, a detailed understanding of Claims Fraud would be highly advantageous.

In conjunction with the operations and MI team, you will produce regular financial crime management information to be presented to senior management, including the Executive Risk Committee.

You will also facilitate and review ongoing financial crime awareness training for employees, assist with requests from external parties, including external consultants and the UK Financial Conduct Authority.

The company is undergoing a great deal of positive change with compliance & financial crime functions, so you will be expected to have excellent stakeholder management skill to develop strong relationships with various business areas, to push your agenda.

The culture of the firm all about its staff, their welfare and helping them progress their careers. They have a flexible approach to remote working, providing you are in the office a couple of days a week. They are also open to the option of a three to four day working weeks if you are thinking of part-time work.
