My client, a leading bank in London, are looking for an Associate Director/Senior Associate Director to join their Consumer & Healthcare coverage team.

The role of the Associate Director Consumer & Healthcare, is to support the marketing and origination of new business opportunities across the Consumer & Healthcare clients located in the UK, Ireland & EMEA region, support the origination of new advisory transactions, as well as to support critical internal processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the management and development of existing and prospective global client relationships in the Consumer & Healthcare space
  • Support business generation efforts in a bid to optimise income, cross sell opportunities,
  • Support the broadening of the banks ability to support clients across our range of product offerings
  • Development and demonstration of a deep understanding of the issues and drivers for each client within the Consumer & Healthcare sectors
  • Support the management of credit related client requests / proposals
  • Support the maximisation of revenue generation including cross-sell opportunities
  • Support the efforts towards a greater return on risk capital across the portfolio
  • Support effective relationships within client companies
  • Help mentor and develop the Associate within the team
  • Take increased level of client responsibility and dialogue, acting as junior Relationship Manager for a number of relationships, developing contact points at within the client.
  • Other duties as may be requested by Managing Director, Consumer & Healthcare

Qualifications, Skills and Experience required:

  • University Degree or equivalent with professional qualifications
  • Experience working within a Corporate Banking team at another team
  • Experience with Consumer and Healthcare clients
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, modelling knowledge and skills in corporate finance are desirable
  • Ability to interpret and analyse corporate accounts
  • Experience in monitoring and managing global credit lines
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with both internal stakeholders and external clients
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Team orientated with excellent communication skills
  • Proven track record in desktop analysis and to possess a strong technical skill set
  • Computer Literacy
