I am currently recruiting for a Software Technical Architect (hands on) to join our client's successful company in Glasgow city centre. - Flexible working including work from home options - open minded company.
  • This is a key position within the company where you will work on several exciting developments within the business.
  • The role will be focused initially on the design and implementation of software applications.
  • The successful candidate will have
    • Hands on experience with a range of technologies including ASP.NET and C# where there will be times you will code as well as design. (you will also get exposure to new technologies)
    • Designing and developing applications in close consultation with users.
    • Providing guidance on the overall technical architecture of the team's solutions.
    • Keeping abreast of the latest tools, techniques and best practice in software engineering and helping the team adopt best practice as appropriate.
    • Producing functional, technical and design documentation where necessary.
    • Contributing to the companies firmwide technical architect community and helping shape their overall architectural design decisions and principles.
    • Working in a DevOps environment supporting and contributing to agile software delivery.
    • Able to translate end user/stakeholder requirements into detailed technical/architectural specifications.
    • Strong experience of technical and architectural design with large-scale web applications.
